Through September 29th: Music on Main Concert Series

Join us every Thursday evening at the Music on Main Concert Series on Main Street, one of our weekly favorites having been going on all summer long! Come on down and delight in the sounds of live music with your community from 7:00-9:00 pm through September 29th. Admission is free and the is a perfect event for the entire family – with game sad activities along with food and drinks! There is free parking for both vehicles and golf carts so we’ll see you there and don’t forget your beach chair!

October 6th: 22nd Annual Pawley’s Island Wine & Food Gala

It’s time to get fancy at the 22nd Annual Pawley’s Island Wine & food Gala! Pawley’s Island is known for its exquisite food, and so much of it will be on full display at this delightful event. Starting at 7:00 pm you can sample over 75 wines from renowned vineyards around the world at the Reserve Golf Club of Pawley’s Island. Not only that, but you’ll enjoy delicious hors d’curves prepared by the  areas most acclaimed chefs along with a chocolate and cheese tasting to top it all off for a truly incredible night. The event will be held rain or shine and the dress is casual cocktail attire. Patrons will receive a complementary wine glass as well as special deals and prices on wine. 

October 8th: 17th Annual Little River Shrimp Fest

From October 8th – 9th at the Historic Little River Waterfront is one of the areas most beloved festivals: The Little River Shrimp Fest! More than 100 vendors will be set up from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm that includes not only mouth watering shrimp and seafood but also a variety of art and craft vendors, business expos, and community organizations. Incredible fresh local seafood and more shrimp than you can imagine will be served by the talented local food vendors of the area and of course you’ll be able to find all of your favorite festival foods. This event is great for all ages, with two different stages for live music, balloon artists, and stilt walkers so don’t miss out!

October 13th: 2022 Myrtle Beach Greek Festival 

After two years of drive thru only events, the beloved Myrtle Beach Greek Festival is back in full swing for 2022! Going from October 13th through October 16th at St John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church in Myrtle Beach presents their annual Greek Festival that has become a staple in the area for years. You come for the delicious, homemade desserts and you stay for the beautiful church tours and also the other delicious, homemade Greek food. This Festival is most importantly an opportunity to appreciate, experience, and enjoy the beliefs and heritage of the Greek church with the local community and it partners with a number of local charities for the event. With numerous vendors, dance performances, and even special kids areas, this festival is a great time for anyone and everyone!

October 14th: Myrtle Beach Jazz Festival

Carver Street in Myrtle Beach is rich with history, specifically R&B and Jazz music history. It lives on the streets, it lives in the buildings, it lives int he people, and annually that music history is celebrated with the Myrtle Beach Jazz Festival! This event is held from October 14th-October 16th and brings music lovers from all over South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, and even farther together to celebrate their love for jazz and Black culture and history. They strive to keep jazz alive and enrich the Grand Strand while raising up jazz culture, the greater community, and people from all walks of life! Headliner performers include Phil Denny, Jeanette Harris, Terence Young, Dee Lucas, and many many other talented musicians. This location, Charle’s place was once a staple location in the “Chitlin circuit” which was a string of performance venues deemed for black performers and attendees in the 40s, 50s, and 60s during segregation. Now, Charle’s Place serves as a historical museum and business incubator, helping the community! 

October 22nd: Kind keeper Animal Rescue Fall Festival 

You don’t want to miss this Paw-some event from October 22nd – October 23rd at the Kind Keeper Animal Rescue! This Fall Festival is being held to raise proceeds to go towards building the new facility for the Kind Keeper’s Animal Rescue on the very 10 acres where the festival is being held! This event is perfect for families, and even perfect for adding a new member to the family as adoptions will be available! You’ll also find numerous vendors, delicious food trucks, a bounce house, games and crafts, live music, contests and prizes and so much more! Kind Keepers Animal Rescue is an incredible organization and shelter that is helping many animals in the area, it’s a non profit as well as a no kill animal rescue that is doing so much for the animals in the community so come join us for the festival! 

November 12th: Mythical and Medieval Fest

Calling all knights and maidens to the Mythical and Medieval Fest in Socastee from November 12th through November 13th!  The Mythical & Medieval Fest is a Renaissance themed festival used to raise money for Caleb’s Dragonfly Dreams which is a local non-profit in Myrtle Beach that provides positive activities to children that have been abused, neglected, or abandoned and reside in a group home or shelters. At this festival you can help kids in need all while being transported to a whimsical realm with a fairy forest, medieval combat, princesses, artisans village area, fire show, and so much more! With fantastical activities for both kids and adults, delicious food, and everyone in costume you’re sure to have an incredible time at Myrtle Beach’s only Ren fair!
