Get ready to savor the flavors of the coast at the 43rd Annual World Famous Blue Crab Festival, happening May 17–18, 2025, along the scenic Historic Little River Waterfront in Little River, South Carolina. This beloved event has grown from a small waterfront gathering in 1981 to one of the Southeast’s largest festivals, drawing over 50,000 visitors each year.

Festival-goers can indulge in freshly prepared seafood, including steamed blue crabs, crab cakes, and soft-shell crab sandwiches from local waterfront restaurants. The festival also features live beach music, over 250 arts and crafts vendors, and a dedicated kids’ zone, making it a perfect outing for the whole family.

Admission is $10 per day, with free entry for children 12 and under. To ease transportation, satellite parking with shuttle services is available, and for a unique experience, attendees can arrive via the Sea Screamer water taxi.

Consistently voted the Best Annual Event/Festival on the Grand Strand for over eight years, the Blue Crab Festival is more than just a seafood celebration—it’s a cherished community tradition. For more information, tickets, and planning your visit, head to www.bluecrabfestival.org.
